How to Place Eyeglasses Order

Placing an order for eyeglasses at pocketoptictt.com is easy and convenient! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:

Have Your Prescription Ready:

  • Before you start shopping, make sure you have a valid prescription for glasses from your optometrist.
  • It’s best if the prescription is not older than six months and includes your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement.

Create a Pocket Optic Account:

  • This is optional but we highly recommend it! This gives you 10% off of your first order with us and will save all your details so you don’t have to enter it again.
  • It also lets you be the first to know of our new promotions, specials and free giveaways! 

Select Your Frame:

  • Browse our website and choose your desired frame. Use our menu options to filter by shape, size or style.
  • If you’re not sure which frame shape is best for you, check out our “Best Frame For Your Face Shapes” guide. And with our Try-On feature, you can upload a selfie and see how the frame will look on you!
  • We also recommend measuring the width of a frame that you have used before and fit well, or measuring the width of your face (if this is your first time) to ensure a comfortable fit.

If you prefer to physically try on frames, we’ve got you covered!

We can set up an appointment to meet at a publicly designated location and try on our available frames.

Keep in mind, there is a $75 fee for try-on and measurement appointments, (including your PD; refer to How to Measure your Pupillary Distance) payable on or before the appointment date. But don’t worry, should you proceed with your order within 3 months of the fitting, we’ll deduct this fee from your total cost.

Checkout Your Frame:

  • Once you’ve chosen your frame and uploaded your order and prescription details at Checkout, you can also indicate any additional features you would like to add and upload your prescription. 

Payment:

  • Make a down payment of half the cost to have the complete eyewear imported. Should there be a difference in price due the strength of the prescription; a revised quote will be submitted electronically within 24 hours.
  • Payments are non-refundable and can be made via online banking transfer/deposit or cash. The remaining balance is paid upon delivery.

Delivery:

  • Frames are ready in about three (3) weeks!
  • Your complete frames can be collected at our FREE pick up point in Grand Bazaar or you can choose Express Delivery to be delivered directly to you.
  • Please note that flight delays and holidays may affect arrival dates, which is out of our control.

 

Ordering Issues

Q: I made a mistake. Can I change my order?

A: We strive to process orders as quickly as possible. But we will try to accommodate any order changes within 24hours of placement, once order has not been processed. The quickest way to get a hold of us is by direct phone call or WhatsApp (868)-720-7155.

Please be ready to provide your order number, and let us know exactly what changes need to be made. We will make necessary changes for you and will update any further information.

    • Upgrade to transition lenses: $1290 (single vision), $1490  (progressive and bifocal) 
    • Upgrade with permanent sunglasses tint: $850 (single vision), $1,350 (progressive and bifocal) 
    • Upgrade with polarized sunglasses tint: $1250 (single vision), $1,590.00 (progressive and bifocal) 

NOTE: Our base prices for transitions cover up to 1.61 high index lenses giving thinner, lighter lenses for persons with stronger prescriptions at no additional cost! 

All frames come with FREE anti-reflective, FREE anti-scratch and FREE UV coatings.

Please note that higher prescription lenses may require an additional cost of $400 to $600, depending on the specific lenses and prescription.

And, for those looking for additional protection against blue light, we offer blue blockers as an add-on to any package for an additional cost of $189.00.

Payment Plans

There are three convenient and affordable payment plans applicable to frames with prescription lenses:

First deposit can be made via any of the payment options above. Clients have the option to pay balance in cash upon delivery.

Bank Deposits/Transfers

Direct Bank Deposits or Bank Transfers are transactions facilitated through your financial institution, using Pocket Optic’s banking details which will be provided at check-out, or on your invoice.

Pocket Optic’s banking details will be provided at check-out or on your invoice and can be settled by either of the following:

  • In-Branch Deposits over the counter 
  • Online Transfers using a banks’ online web portals/apps

Bank Deposits/Bank Transfer payments should indicate your order number in the reference field or your payment. Payments must be received within three (3) business days with evidence of payment; image of bank deposit receipt or online transfer screenshot; being submitted via WhatsApp Message, or emailed.

Cash

Arrangement can be made for collection at Grand Bazaar or in the Port of Spain area. Contact us to make arrangements.

We want you to love your new eyewear! At Pocket Optic TT, we are committed to providing you with quality, stylish, and affordable eyewear and accessories.

Our products undergo rigorous inspection before being delivered to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality. We offer a 3-month warranty from the date of collection for manufacturer’s defects, so you can shop with confidence.

If you are not satisfied with your new glasses, we are here to help. Here’s what you can do:

For issues with your prescription:

  • Provide us with a copy of your prescription
  • Let us know if you experience discomfort, such as headaches or tired eyes during the first few days of wearing your new glasses
  • Send us a photo of you wearing your old glasses as reference
  • Send us a photo of you wearing your new glasses

Please forward this information to us within 5 working days of receiving your new frames. We will check to see if the prescription details were loaded correctly. If we find that the prescription details were not loaded correctly, we will replace your lenses for free. 

Please note that Pocket Optic TT will not be liable for inaccurate prescriptions, including pupillary distance measurements, provided by third-party eyewear outlets. 

For issues with your frame: 

For any issue resulting from a manufacturer’s defect within 3 months of collection, we will replace your frame at no cost to you.

However, if the issue is a result of your own human error, we will offer you a 30% discount on a new pair. In either case, we will evaluate your frame to determine the best solution for you.

Refunds are only considered on a strictly case-by-case basis and will not be granted on the basis of incorrect information provided by the customer.
